Minecraft 1.15 Unblocked [Download]

Does your school block Minecraft.net? Maybe parental controls is preventing you from launching? Or, there could be a SOCKS proxy that is blocking connections to Minecraft account authentication. If any of these issues apply to you, you can use our “unblocked” version of Minecraft 1.15 in order to play Minecraft anywhere, even in restricted or censored environments.

Even if you usually play from home using your own Minecraft account, the unblocked version could still come in handy whenever the authentication servers go down. Naturally, the unblocked version only supports singleplayer and local servers, since online servers require you to authenticate your account before joining.

What’s new in Minecraft 1.15?

  • New themes have been added, such as buzzy bees and delicious honey!
  • New game mechanics, like pollinating flowers and naturally spawning baby animals!
  • New bee-related items, such as beehives, honeycomb, bee nests, and honey blocks!

Part 1: Downloading (on an unrestricted network)

  1. In order to download all of the necessary files, you have to be at home or be connected to a network that will not filter or block your Internet connection.
  2. Make sure you have a program installed that is able to download files from “magnet” links. If you’ve never downloaded anything from a magnet link before, qBittorrent is a free, open source option.
  3. Click here to download the necessary files (227 MB). Clicking on the magnet link should launch qBittorrent, or you can copy the link into the download queue manually.
  4. If you’re planning to play Minecraft on a blocked computer, you should probably copy the files onto a flash drive or SD card before proceeding to Step 2.

Part 2: Installing & playing (no network needed)

  1. Most computers already have Microsoft .NET installed, but if not, you can get a standalone installer for the latest .NET framework from Microsoft’s website by clicking here (48 MB). This installer does not require any internet access.
  2. The PC version of Minecraft also requires Java to be installed. You can check what version of Java you have by going here, and you can download the latest Java installer here, if needed.
  3. Once you’ve verified that the necessary Java and .NET framework are installed, you can run the Minecraft “full installer” that you downloaded in Step 1.
  4. If you run into issues upon launch, remember that Minecraft requires a graphics card that has at least basic support for OpenGL.
  5. If the launcher files ever get corrupted, you can always delete those files from the “%appdata%/.minecraft/” folder. Just go to your Start Menu, click on “Run”, and then paste the directory path shown above.
  6. In case of major unexpected issues, you can move all of these files somewhere and then re-run the installer.
  7. Make sure to specify the username that you want to use, which will be very important for when you are connecting to local servers.
  8. Once the game is completely launched, you can create a new singleplayer world or join one of the local servers on the provided server list.

If you run into any issues or have questions, I’d be glad to answer them in the comments below.

    • Unfortunately LUNI is closed, but the latest version of the server is still available for download. I think that Darkflame is still developing but I’m not sure if they have any public servers available.
