I actually tried making a logo for the server last night. i think my suggestion for the name of the server helped a little too. while these are minor things i think these might help. Also i cant program. i can just do minor stuff like that. :3

Sorry, but the LUNI Server project by raffa is NOT in the “abandoned” state, as you can see on the project page.
Also, I think you should give lcdr credit for making a packet decrypter, pwjones for his packets, and triver for actually making the base code which you’ll probably be using. And raffa if you’re gonna use his MySQL code.
If you don’t use any of the existing code, you would have no problem following through on “It is and will always be 100% free and open source.” (which actually it isn’t open source yet)
I have personally nothing against people making servers, but if you use work by other people you should credit them for it. (Because I’m pretty sure you’re gonna use pwjones’ packets)
Also you’re not continuing an abandoned project as SourceForce has not marked LUNI Server as abandoned.
Sorry, but we are creating our own client seperate from the LUNI server software. That is not a valid comment. (I’m on noones side to be honest though) I just think that we should just concentrate on a) restoring LU to a playable state and b) teaching raffa english 😉

If you’re gonna be recreating the client, take note that you cannot use the LU assets. They are copyrighted and owned by LEGO. (look at what happend to Kelvin for trying to do that)
Also, I thought you were just gonna copy over this code/use these packets because on the project page you listed that the available worlds are the exact same as the ones we have packets for now.

1. Is there any way to integrate the client and the game in a website so that you can play it online?
2. Do you know any free online server platform where I could host a multiplayer server without all the fuss of portforwarding and calling microsoft help desk a million times before getting the answer you needed?

The main problem is that there is not enough packets you need the packets to load world or do something it has mainly nothing to do with the .pk files.
I have German .pk Files. The Server Works 100% with German datas. What failed?

Actually WWarner Brothers were the publishers or something like that and a Minecraft friend of mine called LEGO to ask for the files and they said call Warner Brothers. Warner Brothers wont give them to you though. 😛

.lua scripts have nothing to do with the server’s architecture nor the packets. So enjoy, you’ve got nothing of any value. The extracted client has been available since during Live, dunno why you just found it.
I do believe that the client has been found before and mentioned here, but Robo was just bringing attention to it. We understand it doesn’t relate to the server.

“/6074/scriptsX/” up.
And the .lua datas and C++ don’t the same but Visual Studios know what for a script that is and can were use in C++.
I just dont see how these scripts could help us the scripts are from the clients pk files I dont thank they would help the server.

True, but we don’t know how to tell the client from the server without the packet. It’s like an instruction for the client to perform. We know the client can do it, but we can’t tell it to with our server because we don’t have a packet for it.

would it be possible to just switch the .zal files that are in the .pk files like replace nd_nimbus_station.zal with nd_avant_gardens.zal then rename them to load other worlds
What is .zal and don’t have .zal but .luz?
.zal file is the file is the assets list file for the world the file loads the worlds
So by replacing the .zal file with another file it would load differnt assets such as a differnt world

in side a packet for a world is the {World Id and then the revision check sum}
We advise what for a ID or check sum…
We have all but one world ID (Space Blizzard). However, I have only obtained five checksums, four for which are currently used and one for Ninjago Monastery. We need both pieces of information to create a useful packet. I do believe that checksums can be extracted from a FAT client.
