  1. So after long time, Tim, you showed to all what you really are A PIRATE and a THEFT!
I’m happy that now all the people that were here with you are now on my side!
Finally we won! that’s not only my victory, but victory of all people that belived in the LUNI project, and you took all the credits, robbing all the efforts that we put in our project, our project is open and everybody can help! we wanted only to give a working thing and focus on developing, while you want only to give smoke and GAIN MONEY!

Of couse for the LUNI project war is over, but war isn’t over yet because you are still pirating stuff and YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES, one day or another!

    • Raffa you’re so friggin ridiculous. What is up with your “Vendetta plan”.

    • raffa, ill nvr join you. NEVER!!!

    • I’ll never join you raffa! NEVER!!! 😛

      • My bad, i posted this on my wii and it didnt show up on my computer so i posted it again. sorry guys. i didnt mean spam :/

    • He has helped LUNI so much and they’ve done so much without you, you and all your followers need to open your eyes and get on Tim’s side, idiot(s).

      • I’m defentily staying on tim’s side.

      • Laugh out loud!
Open YOUR eyes and get the [censored] out of this project.
        What is your point?
Still gonna stay at this site?
        Open your eyes ediot(s)
This is my real last post here.
        😛

    • Hello raffa,

I think you will happy to hear that I’ve included country blocking that includes Italy for my game-lending site.

Additionally, I removed the highly inappropriate link that you are allowed to post when you post a comment, so that others can visit a website of your choice when they click your name. If you abuse this feature again, I will place you in the queue where you cannot post anything without approval by me or my 2-person moderation team.

      • Raffa, as AlbinoBunny sayd, you’re too ridiculous.

I haven’t been on for a long time, so I don’t know much about all of this business. If someone is the bad guy in this story, I belive it’s you. Telling all of those lies (drugs, money making, etc’). Now tell me, do you have any proofs?

        P.S: Tim do you smoke?

        • And Tim apologies of his pirating LW. That was a mistake an what is bad about making money? Everyone needs money, getting a bit money is not bad. Even a lot of money is not bad.

        • Hey yuuy! The money from ads from the 5 LU pages here is $25 all-time, and it has been sent back into the fund for the public server.

P.S. No, I don’t smoke, take drugs, or drink alcohol.

  2. Tim, you made a mistake. Everyone knows that. I think you should just stop lendgmes (and start the online sever you got money for). That will prove that you are not a “bad Pirate”. When you do that, I will try to help you so that you can get into the Project again. If you won’t, I can’t try to help and you will lose the control about LUNI completely.

In hope that you change your Mind,
    bluebrain

  3. Okay TimTech, I think this has gotten out of hand.
1: Ad money: Thank you for proving me wrong.
2: Lego Worlds: This is still wrong, and what most people are mad about. I would recommend shutting this down.
    3: You “pirating” LUNI… See 4.
4: Raffa saying that we agree with him: HOLY CRAP RAFFA JUST SHUT UP!!!!
We are saying (or at least I am) that while it may not have been “necessary” for you to host this stuff here, and while it may have dramatically increased traffic to this site, it has 100% helped LUNI. Crap, half of use wouldn’t even know about this project guys!
And for Raffa… First off, you putting a virus inside LUNI is 10000x worse than software pirating…. I also don’t think that TimTech stole ANYTHING, because he has never claimed credit for anything he did not do.

So in short TimTech, this is an apology for some of my claims, but I would still recommend removing LW from LendGames.

And also, in response to the post above, yes, of course TimTech deserves a second chance! I am not mad at him, just informing him that things need to change…

    • SideNote// Just saw you removed LW… Thanks 🙂

      • You right CD, if Tim hadn’t set up this site I wouldn’t be a developer…

I’d be playing LEGO Universe because the devs would already be done.

And Tim? Why don’t you think why Darwin won’t release his source? He doesn’t want another timtech drama.

        • 1… what did you develop?
          2… nope.
3… I hear people are already beta testing this, including you, so you can be quiet.

          • Beta testing? I thought the other devs had stopped work completely. Do you have any proof?

          • No, I have no proof. I just heard that there’s a Skype group for it. Don’t let me spread another rumor.

          • 1) I can tell you he is developing, but not sharing.

            2) Much further than now.

            3) Yes, but: Only in his group of people, and he’s not giving the source to anyone. Sooooo

          • How are you testing without source? Just a compiled version then? And it could still be re-hosted; taking it off open source is not the solution.

          • Compiled. It does resolve some issues, as the source can’t be altered (ie, include crediting when application is launched). Also, he’s keeping it in a very small group of people he trusts.

        • 1. Uh, ever hear about the launchpad fix?
          2. I’d be closer to playing then I am with this site
          3. And, I promise, I’ve never played DLU once.

      • Yeah, its nice he removed it. And besides, he replaced it with a message we should all read. I think a lot of you have read it already

    • HappyAngryCatfish June 7, 2015 @ 10:08 AM

From Tim’s attitude towards pirating it completely shows how and why he stole LUNI. All the proof I need to convince myself.

    • You’re so correct. (HOLY CAR RAAFA JUST SHUT UP!!!!!)

  4. FYI, lendgames is still a thing, it’s just not linked on here. >.<

And yeah, lendgames is pirating, and proving what Raffa has said all along. That's really all there is to it.

    • So, Tim, please delete lendgames completely.

      • I have implemented country blocking for this purpose.

        • Tim.

You’re still in the US, with a US host. It’s still pirating. it’s still immoral, taking advantage of something not yours to distribute, and hurting the creators of the original projects.

          • Most of the files are not hosted in the United States.

          • Tim. The host for the site is the same as the one here, based in Texas. And that is still irrelevant to the other points:

            1) You’re in the us
            2) It’s pirating, even if not illegal for those other regions
            3) You’re taking advantage and hurting the original creators just to further yourself, and not even adding any value.

          • The front-end is in Texas; the files are mostly torrents hosted outside of the United States.

And I do consider free games to be of some value.

          • Yes, but you are still technically stealing LEGO’s property by hosting LW…

        • SuperGeniusCreator June 7, 2015 @ 7:00 PM

Regardless of national laws, it’s still wrong to just take a game and give it out for free, since that prevents the software developers from making money from the sales they could have made. And don’t say they already have a lot of money, because how much money they already have as absolutely nothing to do with it. While you may possibly be doing what is legally right (It might still be illegal because of you being in the US…), I still think you’re doing what is morally wrong. But thank you for at least blocking it from the countries where it is illegal, though I still wonder why you even made that site in the first place…

          • ^^This

Tim, ALL you’re doing is providing something for free at the expense of the original devs. There is nothing special you give other than robbing the devs of their income.

Where you host it or who you host it to is beside the point. Pirating is providing someone else’s software without permission. That’s what you’re doing. And it’s not moral.

          • So Knight are you saying that you “NEVER” torrented anything?

  5. Okay wut have I missed… I’ve been foccusing on my station.

From what I could see on the top comment (basically Raffa again) is that pirating? Seriously? Someone add live:theepictristan on Skype or email tristan@jumpradio.co.uk with a summary of what’s happened. CBA to go through the 50million comments lol.

By the way, if LUNI connects with JUMP Media, we can get funding, servers etc…

  6. Hey Tim, I used to Play Lego Universe a lot, and I still have the entire program installed on my computer. It has all the files from the beginning to 5 days before closing. Is that any help? Thanks!

    • It might be 🙂 how big is the folder with all of the files?

      • It is 5.65 GB, contains 4,468 files and 800 folders. Anything else you need to know?

        • Wow, the “Nexus 2” client is 13.2 GB but only contains 691 files and 73 folders. What are the main folders you can see?

          • This may be a MASSIVE push through! Maybe the files are more compiled?

          • The main folder is called LEGO Universe, then it seperates into client, installer, patcher, versions(which are folders) and LEGO Universe(shortcut), README.txt, and uninstall.exe

  7. So, after many rumors, the situation is calming down. There is a good point remaining: Github. More people know of the place, withis pretty good. The next goal is re-ordering the documentation.

  8. The funny thing is it’s mostly just non-devs who are getting all riled up… 😛

    • Yeah, it’s sad. No one except Jon is even developing LUNI, and even he hasn’t shown much activity in the past week. We really all have our own stuff, and I don’t think this argument is going to shift the project one way or the other.

      • That’s only what you’re seeing. I have been working with a number of these people to work on development, and there has been nothing far along enough to be able to release it. That information, while it may appear valid, is completely false.

        • So the GitHub is really not for developers? There is none of the activity you speak of on Jon’s repository.

          • *Sigh*

That’s because there’s been more fussing than actual coding. Why in the world would you push code to a repository when it’s not even substantially complete? That makes no sense.

          • Well I would think it’s a place where you work together, making developments and pushing them as you go. I don’t see the point of a repo where nothing changes, yet there are claims of progress.

          • Tim, as I said. There hasn’t been anything to push yet. It makes no sense to commit something that is still heavily in progress.

  9. Guys, EVERYTHING else beside, would someone please show me SOLID proof that TimTech:
1: Stole LUNI software illegally(and no, you cant use the Creative Commons 3 bc that was not in use yet)
2: Claimed that he created LUNI and LUNI code.

Until then, i will put my lot in with TimTech( if he removes LW) and not Raffa. Even if i eventually stop agreeing with TimTech, i will never agree with Raffa. Ever.

    • I have added country blocking in compliance to ACTA, SOPA, and RIAA anti-piracy laws 🙂 see here.

    • Tim never ‘stole’ the software in a legal aspect, and I haven’t seen him claim it. However:

He rehosted the content despite the devs wish for him not to
He gains ad money from this, without adding much extra value
He appears to the public as running this project
His piracy (irrelevant of territory!) makes it appear his motives are solely to further himself, even when that is taking advantage of others.

      That’s the concerns.

      • So. Basically you just told me… Nothing.
Yes he rehosted the files, which added publicity(which is why the devs didnt want it) but in my opinion this has helped bring in more talent to the project.
25 dollars in ad money. Big whoop.
As for him running the project: he has never said anything about him being the leader, except for him owning this site.
He has put up ip blocks on his LendGames.

Still waiting for some REAL arguments…

        • Yes, it may have helped the project, and I do agree, but it did cause this whole project to fracture.

It’s not much money, but it’s still taking advantage of something not his, plus according to Lego’s regulations it needs to be noncommercial.

No, but because of what he’s doing, he makes a lot of people think it. It’s a problem, whether intentionally or not.

IP blocks doesn’t stop it from being piracy. >.<

          • The project would have fractured anyway, when the net person made their website or YouTube video about it.

It is non-commercial because it’s going back to the hosting of the public server (which should be releasing this week).

I do run this site, even though I said many times that I’m not actually involved in developing the server.

That is true, but I have instituted IP blocks for countries where pirating is illegal.

          • There’s better ways to deal with disagreement than bluntly ignoring a request from the people doing things.

No, all LUNI needs to be noncomemrcial. The whole project. It’s still a LU private server project.

I know. But how you have things set up is in a way that makes it look like you are, as you’re not really showing where the work is going on prominently.

It’s still piracy, and it’s still bad.

  10. In addition this, lets have a COMPLETELY HONEST poll:
Who would you rather hang out with:
TimTech: Helps out all new players to LUNI, hosts files for free, 50% responsible for the spliting of the devs, 50% of the devs side are dont care about him, friendly, hosts pirated files(for now…)
Raffa: Experenced coder, virus insterter(not just for TimTech but for everyone), prone to temper tantrums, closed LUNI because he jad his fealings hurt, rude, doesnt play well with others, most devs dont care if he helps or doesnt, 50% responsible for the spliting of the devs.

    • I’d rather hang out with Jon, since he’s the one that’s actually still working on this productively and he hasn’t gotten tangled up in the Timtech/Raffa debate.

  11. HappyAngryCatfish June 7, 2015 @ 2:51 PM

Okay this is going to be my honest opinion here.
Timtechs site works fine for helping guiding and directing new people and hosting files.
Raffa is not who people here think he is. People seem to live him up to be something he isn’t he is a nice guy once you talk to him.
The developers do need to work somewhere else away from this site to help develop in a more orderly fashion.

  12. ElectricGhostGadget June 7, 2015 @ 3:53 PM

Okay is there a 0.6.1 tutorial yet?
    (Not trying to rush c:)

  13. Guys, if you want to try and transfer people over to GitHub, great, I’m all for ya. But if you try in include Raffa, i will not support you. Raffa has shown time and time again that he cannot be trusted. I would say most of the developers want nothing to do with him. Let me list the current dev teams:
    1: Darwin and sometimes neal.
    2: ldcr and humanoid24
    3: Jon002 and sometimes pwjones.
4: I would put Raffa here, except for the fact that he CLOSED DOWN ALL THINGS LUNI on sourceforge…

So if you want to include a virus injecting guy who acts like a 10 year old, go ahead. But i WILL NOT get involved with him.

    • Hehe, CD, you argument(s) is that Raffa over-exaggerates and overreacts about how he’s right.

You’re doing the same thing, but just for tim.

No point in trying to explain things, people have already taken sides.

      • So your saying that I am over exaggerating? Show me one thing in that post that was not true.
Raffa is not the only one who acts like a 10 year old…

        • HappyAngryCatfish June 7, 2015 @ 7:40 PM

The lies that get spread about him are just sad.. Until you talk with him really you shouldn’t talk ABOUT him.

          • I have all the peoof i need from the sourceforge forums and this site… What i would like to know is what made you chnage your mind about him? You were against him until about… 1 day ago…

          • I never meet Hitler…

          • How about actually getting to know what he’s like in a normal setting, and understanding where he’s coming from when there’s obvious proof that he takes advantage of others’ content?

          • Hitler was also someone who did acts that cannot truly be reasoned, and there is a whole lot more knowledge about him over his entire lifetime. Raffa, on the other hand, you only have about a few hours worth of content from what he’s posted. 😛

          • So you are saying ating a virus is resonable?
And yes, Raffa is free to combat my arguments with solid proof.

          • No, I’m saying his motives are. He went over the top when he got mad.

        • You completely deny the fact that there might be another side to Raffa when he’s not showing how mad he is for what Tim did.

Yeah, he’s over the top in dealing with this stuff imo. But that doesn’t mean that’s how he acts in every situation.

      • And also, I am not supporting TimTech, at least not fully, i am mearly NOT supporting Raffa.

        • HappyAngryCatfish June 7, 2015 @ 9:26 PM

Your hate for Raffa is based off merely one side of arguments. I’m not saying the virus was a good thing to do. But I have learned where he is coming from and what he is talking about. And you can state your same argument over all week for I care. But if you truly wish to understand Raffa you need to talk to him and the fact you are too closed to do so is rather disappointing. You close your mind to hearing the other side of the debate.

          • Oh, I hear you loud and clear… What i am dissipointed in is you. Literaly 2 days ago you were against Raffa. The only reason you are agreeing with him is because he agrees with you… You have stood by TimTech for 2 years. Dont bother denying it, i have read most of the comments on this site.

          • Yup. Because until now, he has neither talked with Raffa nor seen evidence of Tim’s motive’s likely being bad.

          • Umm no. He was here MUCH longer than you night… He was here in the beggining(i think even on that link i posted…)

          • HappyAngryCatfish June 8, 2015 @ 12:50 AM

I know who I am and where I stood. I was fed the junk about raffa just like you’ve been. I saw the one side of the argument and thought he was crazy. Things are coming into the light now and I’m taking my spot where I stand. I don’t support pirating games. Yes I know raffa isn’t all on the ‘up and up’ either. But the SF page will help this project a lot. And I really hope you come and help develop once we do move there. And as for Timtechs pirating site I’m not particularly mad about it but I believe its time to move to a site where we can work together more efficiently.

        • Still, what he did was really bad. So bad, that he was sued for it…

    • CD have you actually ever talked to Raffa? If not you can’t give a valid argument for hating him. I for one HAVE talked to him… He’s a nice guy when people don’t treat him like a foul monster, such as everyone here. There are reasons to hate him from the past for Tim and Raffa most here seem to get over Tim’s mistakes ASAP without treating him like a monster. Can you not do the same for Raffa?

    • HappyAngryCatfish June 7, 2015 @ 9:27 PM

      Looks good!

    • You’re doing a great job!

      • Thanks! We still need to make some kind of installer, but VisualStudio don’t work on C:\Program Files ((x86)) folder, I get some strange WebClient errors….. Hope it works for everyone!

        TO DO IN PATCHER:
*Add More Style ( LU Like )
*Make it work on C:\Program Files ((x86)) folder
        *Make an Installer

  14. I have come to an understanding with Nightoffaith. We believe Raffa has a good side and a bad side. He believes that Raffa’s good side more in control. I believe otherwise.

I am not trying to force my so called “hate” of Raffa on you. I am mearly wary of him, and am warning you. There is no right or wrong answer to which side you choose. I just think that we would be better off developing with Jon002… Speaking of which, have you guys talked to him about this? Because from what ive seen of him, he wont exactly accept Raffa with open arms. He amd pwjones were the most outspoken against him. And it is his GitHub you are trying to get everyone to migrate to…

    • HappyAngryCatfish June 8, 2015 @ 12:45 AM

Jon has agreed to work with him. You act like Raffa is mindless. He will only fight you if you give him reason to like any man would. He is not just going to give us all a virus for grudges sake.

      • And you are saying that he had a better reason the first time? Im not saying that he mindless or stupid, he is VERY knowleged in MySQL and LUNI… I am just saying his temper can sometimes, as weve seen, get WAY overhand…

        • HappyAngryCatfish June 8, 2015 @ 10:44 AM

Then don’t try to grab the software and run and all will be fine.

          • Are you acussing me of stealing other people’s work? Who are you to accuseme of that??? You arent even a developer!

          • Im trying to be as mature about this as i can. It appears that yoy are not. If you want to stoop that low, be my guest. False words have no power over me.

          • HappyAngryCatfish June 8, 2015 @ 3:01 PM

Whoa whoa whoa. 😛 I’m not accusing anyone. I’m just saying that’s what caused it before. He’s not insane. I understand your caution. But all that happened is Jon is running the SF. Raffa just gave him perms raffa isn’t working on it with us.

  15. @CDF Note that Jon is now co-admin with Raffa on the LUNI SF page. Raffa agreed to give him leadership of the project, and Jon accepted.

    • Well good for Jon002. I dont think you guys get that i dont want Raffa to be bad. I hope he turns out to be just as helpful and friendly as you say.

  16. Alright, so I finally got the Unstable Server to work, but whenever I select a character, the server crashes! How do I fix it?

  17. I think we are all saying the same thing here guys. The devs need to move on to sf and we beed more help. I really hope Raffa will be as good as you say he is, for LUNI’s sake. In the meantime i will watch to see if I will come over and help you guys… Just in case.

  18. You guys are ridiculous. Calm the heck down.

  19. Hi tim, have you figures out that issue that i told you about when i try to open legouniverse.exe? i’ve deleted and am redownloading it now to see what happens. Thanks- Donnie

  20. Could someone please say me whats with raffa/SF/GitHub?
I don’t understand why you are talking about SF and raffa. Did he say that he will re-open this and help further developing?
@Timtech: I know you removed all sites to lendgames, but can you also delete the download thing of LW?

    • HappyAngryCatfish June 8, 2015 @ 3:04 PM

He isn’t developing he is giving us access to the SF because developing in a forum and a more official manner will greatly help progress. Right now we are developing in a more every man for himself form.

  21. Well this project is already halfway down the toilet.

  22. Washablemarkers June 8, 2015 @ 2:00 PM

Okay. So It’s been almost 4 years since LEGO Universe died. We ALL can agree on the fact that we miss the game and want it back. I’ve followed this project from the start and honestly don’t care about the drama. I just want the game back. Like we ALL do. Tim made LW free. Whoopty do. I ask you all this. How many of you have torrented games in the past? Or movies? so check yourself before you start throwing hate. Also can we stop with the Tim vs. Raffa crap please? Nobody cares anymore. The past is the past. I’m intrigued to see the flak I’ll get for this.

    • Agreed.
But if you want this to move faster then you need to learn coding. Because of all the drama, Jon is probably the only one coding now.

  23. Ok, i redownloaded the nexus2- i will give the exact wording of what happens, tim. Open nexus2-activate my winzip-takes a little while for it to work :/-this pulls up- Cannot open file ‘nexus2(1).zip.’ It does not appear to be a valid archive. If you downloaded this file, try downloading it again.-i press ok- it then pulls up a empty zip file on winzip. no idea what happened, help!

  24. Okay, i am confused. 2 posts above just said that Raffa is is not developing with you guys? Just giving Jon admin privileges for sf? If so, i am all for helping you guys! I simpily dont think that I would work well with Raffa… Also, i apologize to HappyAngryCatfish for misunderstanding his post about running off with the code. Also, if it comes down to Sourceforge vs GitHub, i like sf better bc of its forum system…

    • HappyAngryCatfish June 8, 2015 @ 4:04 PM

Agreed. SF is better. I’d like to put ‘hostilities’ aside and go work on the SF forum. Raffa has simply given Jon002 admin on the SF forum last I spoke with raffa he had no interest in helping with the project.

And now to ask a normal question amidst the drama, does anyone know anything about an abort R6010 error? I keep getting it when I try to run 0.6 and 0.6.1 I’ve downloaded new copies I’ve checked like everything can’t seem to figure it out.

  26. I know that the version of the server I am using the the ‘unstable’ but I can’t Log-In. I use the right Username/Password. What can I do?

    • You’ve registered the user/pass in the database?

      • Yes, I’ve, in console I get the ‘Alanzote logged-in’ and then after ‘User Disconnected’

        • Ok, Here is what the server printed:

          “DEBUG is ON!
          Data in bytes:
          fe 70 66 04 20 2a 00 00 00 63 69 61 6f 00 cc cc cc cc cc cc cc cc cc cc cc 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0f

          characters started! Listening on: 2002
          world started! Listening on: 2003
          auth started! Listening on: 1001

Auth is receiving a new connection…
          Current Front Char is: 0
          Current Number of Chars: 0
          Current login status is: 1
          1
          Alanzote Logged-In
          User disconnected from Auth server….’

          then on the game…..
          “Sorry!
We Could not sign you in to LEGO universe.”

      • This info should be intersting….

        • Those errors don’t actually impact anything. 😛

Are you using the client and server on the same network interface (ie, same computer, not on a VM)? I know when I ran it on a virtual machine, I had that connection error because I didn’t change the redirectIP in the server’s config.

        • It connects to MySQL Perfectly.

          config.ini

          [Settings]
          redirect_ip=localhost
          use_encryption=false
          log_file=true
          [MYSQL]
          host=localhost
          database=luni
          username=root
          password=
          [Auth]
          redirect_port=2002
          listen_port=1001
          [Char]
          redirect_port=2003

          [World]
          redirect_port=2004
          listen_port=2003

          • When I build the x32 version I get the ‘0xc000007b’ error, here is the build log( I use VisualStudio 2013 )

          • As you see, I got some Errors. Maybe that’s the problem…

          • You’re fine. “Build: 3 succeeded”, those errors are not the problem.

          • uh… so what are the problems?

          • I don’t know 😐

          • I’d try changing your redirect IP to your actual IP and seeing if that helps.

Btw, when posting a lot of stuff like that, use pastebin next time. 😉

    • This in x64 version because in x32 I got the ‘0xc000007b’ error on startup

  27. Ok so after reading a bit, there seems to be a bunch of different people working on this project, Is there currently a stable (enough to play, im okay w/ bugs and glitches) version of the entire game with a public server?

    • I’ve exchanged a good number of e-mails to my server-hosting friend today to set up the public server. If you want to explore worlds, try 0.5.1. If you want the latest developments, 0.6.1 or the latest dev source on github should fit your needs.

Pretty soon, I hope to make a public server available.

      • What will you do with the donation money you have?

      • Okay, also can you explain to me about what all the other drama is about? Are other people also trying to restore the game?

        • Which drama, the stuff that’s been going on recently? 😛

Basically, Tim shared his site, lendgames.com. Previously, a number of original LUNI developers had concerns about Tim rehosting the project, being that he completely disregarded the devs’ wish for him not to (as there was barely anything working at the time, and thy didn’t want to deal with the public), Tim’s site containing ads, reportedly not giving credit to the original team and taking credit himself, and just generally profiting from the project when he added very little value (it’s really just the work of others). Being that there was now tangible evidence of Tim pirating content (as that’s what lendgames is, providing uploads of content which is not his to upload and is usually paid for), many of the developers that were here saw this as evidence that the old devs were right in Tim’s motives being selfish, and detrimental for the project.

At the same time, the devs realized that it would make more sense to create a site managed by the devs as an official home for the project. We also will have access to the original LUNI SourceForge repository, which will both allow us to more fully unify the project and this provides the ability to host a website and forums.

The devs have also discussed the need for LUNI to be rebuilt. We currently plan to recode the whole thing, using existing code as a guide, in a way that will make it MUCH easier to start developing from existing code.

  28. Okay, I found the error code in the Unstable Version when I select a character.

    + _First 0x00380030 const char *

    How do I fix this?

    • Also the error is “Error reading characters of string”. The comment cutted it out.

    • Unstable version.
      See this?
It is not a stable, well working version.
You should download 0.5.1 if you dont want any errors.

  29. I redownloaded it- when i open legouniverse.exe- this happenes- The program can’t start because d3dxx9_.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. HELP! and by it i mean nexus2 tim thx-donnie

  30. Used Firefox- 5.3 GB -No

  31. HappyAngryCatfish June 9, 2015 @ 11:15 AM

Hey guys stop trying to get the Unstable version to work. =P It’s broken it doesn’t work right. Its labelled Unstable for a reason.

  32. Wow, I’ve been on this site almost two and a half years! Time flies 😮

  33. Hi,
    the german guy is back…

I have a question have anyone from you ask Warner Brothers what they want for a Licence of Lego Universe?

  34. When is the public server due for release?

    • It’s been stuck on “Submitting username.” when I test it, so we need help with fixing the problem…

      • Do you receive any log messages from the Char server when logging in (before the message)? Also, check ports, IP addresses (most likely it will not be localhost), and where exactly are you hosting the server in the first place?

        Answer the Call. Save Imagination.
        -Jon002

  35. TimTech, I saw you needed help with the public server… I hosted one myself so maybe I can help. First off, what server version are you useing? I am assuming 5.1? Use 5.0 if you are not already… I had the “Submitting Username” too, let me check my messages with TheNyJan who kept detailed logs on my server…

If I remember right, that means that your ports and/or config file are messed up.

  36. I dont realy care witch “Side” wins both tim and raffa have made mistakes,
but i dont realy get the argument. Sure he made a mistake. Tim fixed it.

  37. Hey HappyAngryCatfish, I found your error: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28210235/what-is-a-r6010-error
    Hope this helps… 😀

  38. tim, i finally got luni to work 😀 thank u tim, and thank you developers of luni. i wouldnt be here without you guys. thx again.

  39. So I go away a little bit and we fight over what side just because somebody made a little mistake. The good thing is that we drew the line and stopped fighting. Now just to tell everyone I was always on raffas side more that Tim I’m 65% raffa and 35% Tim. Sorry tim. Also want to give everyone an update that I’m busy learning C++ and doing my own things. Hope to have fun time developing soon.

  40. Can we ask one of the old programmers of the server maybe one of them is cooparation…

  41. Just a quick question. Comment Poll:
    What gamer are you
    Xbox

  43. Thank you guys SO much for trying to get this back up and running. I am an avid gamer (Starcraft, Portal, KotOR, Age of Empires/Mythology, Borderlands 2, and so many more), but NOTHING beat Lego Universe. NOTHING. You have my eternal gratitude for trying to bring this back. Seriously.
If there is something I can do to help, I will see what I can do.

    Sincerely,

    Ryan/Cubesmithy

  44. Hey question guys: Has anyone been working on complete dynamic packet creation? Note the complete…. I have made one today, but am not near my computer… Just wondering if it had been done yet.

  45. So do you people pay on 0.6.1 right now? I can’t get mine to work. If you play on it, can you make a video or in depth typed tutorial on how to set it up.

  46. Alright guys. I want a truce. (Yes I just said that)

Who agrees? Add me on Skype everyone (live:theepictristan) and we’ll sort this out.

    • As a commenter, who is very sad that they don’t know C++, all I can say is, Tim, Raffa, please, please do not let this fight end this project. We are so, so, so close to playing the game we all loved. Please, settle the fight and don’t let this project fail. For LU’s sake, please. Or at the very least, post-phone it until the game is done. Everyone may be fighting, but there’s one thing we can agree on – LU needs to come back, LU needs to return. Please, let’s all agree on that, and post-phone our differences and fights for LU’s sake.

      • You’re a bit late 😛 raffa already closed his project. But I agree.

        • Jon and I have full rights on that repository, and it will be reopened. Jon is going to be away for a couple weeks leaving me pretty much in charge, and I’ve been working the past couple days to set up our new site and forums, plus I’m in progress designing the new structure for the rebuilding of the server. This will take some time (I want to make sure it’s done right, plus SF servers and the forum style are just… Interesting), but once that’s done we’ll be going pretty much full throttle. Along with Jon and myself, Mater, Jonny, Tristan, and perhaps a couple others (can’t remember off the top of my head) are going to be working to get the server rebuilt, and bring it even closer to completion.

    • agreed. I don’t have Skype though. :-\

  47. What do you guys think about the new game, LEGO® Jurassic World? It looks pretty cool (and expensive – $40).

  48. Wait, rebuilding the server? As in, from scratch, or as in reformating/cleaning up the code?
Also, if you need an extra hand, i would be glad to help.

  49. Tim, PLEASE shut down Lendgames. I don’t care about legal or illegal in this case. I don’t care about what is allowed or not. This case is about other things. This whole thing is about right or wrong. Sharing games with others (i don’t talk about sharing it with two or three people, i talk about all Windows users worldwide) without paying for them is not right in my opinion. If everyone would do it like you, how should Developers get enough money to live? You are (indirectly) slowing down the comlete game industry. I don’t think that this is what you or anybody else really wants.

Shutting down Lendgames won’t recoup what you destroyed, but it would prevent more damage. And again, this has nothing (or not only) to do with illegality, it’s just not right. Many people agree with me. And I think you should agree with me. So, please stop that.

    -bluebrain

    • I agree with bluebrain.
      Shutdown lendgames.
      Now.

    • Please

    • I don’t get it. Like if everyone is gonna do the same thing as Tim.
If we just keep it small, it won’t become widely known.

      • If “we” (it’s good that it’s not “our” site) keep it small, then it won’t make sense. If it doesn’t make sense, Tim will (hopefuly) close it.
And keeping it small don’t makes it a better thing; The devs of the game still wouldn’t earn money. So I don’t get what you mean.

        • Total games bought all-time? Over 1 billion.
Total games lended through my site? 3.

Besides, it’s a personal game collection. You don’t just find it when you search “lend games” or “lendgames” or stuff like that.

And legally, I’ve made sure to censor certain connections where certain games cannot be distributed.
